Flight Test Engineer

Contract - Sweden

Leading Aerospace company are seeking an experienced Flight Test Engineer to join an established Flight Test team based at the client's site in southern Sweden. The focus of the Flight Test Engineer position will be on handling qualities of a swept wing commercial jet currently undergoing flight testing within Sweden and at a test facility in southern Spain.
The position will require on-board testing and participation in flight trials and as part of this role regularly attending flight trials at the facility in Spain. You will also provide mentoring and guidance to less experienced flight test engineers within the team.
You will be an Senior Flight Test Engineer with experience on a range of aircraft platforms with extensive knowledge in aircraft performance and handling qualities. This should include being certified (ideally Category 2) in flight testing for swept wing commercial jets.
They are looking for someone to start on the project ASAP, with the contract running until the end of 2018, with a likely extension beyond this. The base for the contract will be at the client's main site in central southern Sweden, with regular visits to he test facility in Spain (which will be compensated under the company's standard business expenses policy).

Mechanical Installations Design Engineer

Contract - Sweden

Military aircraft company urgently require a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in the design of installations of aircraft support systems and devices. You will be working within the design team specifically on installations design covering propulsion, fuel, hydraulics, flight control and vent/air systems. Experience required includes:

* Design of Mechanical installations for aircraft hydraulics support systems and devices - including ducting, flexible tubing, hydraulic assemblies & systems
* Design experience using CATIA V5, VPM and ideally Model Based Definition (MBD)

Technical Lead (Supplier Manager)

As part of its ongoing aircraft development programs, this leading Chinese aircraft company are seeking experienced technical representatives to manage and liaise with US suppliers to their existing aircraft programs. 
These will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining supply chain architectures, vetting potential suppliers, driving supply chain performance, and supporting new business captures/proposals - Duties include:
* Analysis and development of Supplier Strategy
* Developing and maintaining supplier relationships with the client
* Leads supplier strategy activities for new business capture efforts
* Manages overall supplier performance as required. 
You will have recent experience in liaising with and managing equipment/systems suppliers within the aerospace/aircraft industry. Leading Chinese civil aerospace engine development organization are seeking a Technical Expert in Ice Protection Systems design and analysis to provide high-level technical consultancy support for a new major aero engine development program. (in support of the COMAC C919 / widebody programs)

Responsibilities for this position will include:
·Establish the development strategy within Ice protection design & analysis.
·Take lead role within research and design activities, including managing resources and responsibility for the engineering application of technology.
·Provide technical expertise within ice protection technology within engineering design.
·Responsible for personal development of technical staff in the team.

You will be a technical expert within the field of ice protection design & analysis for aircraft structures and systems, including some knowledge of systems for aero engines. Senior Aerospace Test Engineer - California

Leading aircraft company are seeking an experienced Aerospace Test Engineer to support the development, integration and testing of an ejectable flight data recorder project. This is in the early stages of the project and the role will support all phases of system development including design and analysis, requirements compliance methods, certification (verification / validation) test preparation, and integration into large scale commercial aircraft environments.

Responsibilities include:

* Identify testing required for verification and validation using industry standards & regulations
* Prepare system and component functional and performance certification test procedures, manufacturing test methods and procedures, in accordance with input from other team members.
* Review and evaluate identified program functional and performance requirements for applicability to program goals and objectives.
* Establish testing protocols and test requirements based upon test specifications, drawings, as well as manufacturing and process specifications.
* Identify industry standard test equipment and resources
* Conduct and / or witness mechanical and environmental tests for FAA certification. .
* Test and certification will include subcomponent and component system qualification, for both mechanical and electrical requirements
* Position will require interfacing with the FAA or designated engineering representative, preparation of technical status presentations and leading detailed test reviews.

You will have considerable experience in aerospace structural and electrical testing and must be familiar with aerospace test standards MIL-STD-810 and DO-160, with DO-178 and DO-254 knowledge preferred. A working knowledge of CATIA V5 and DOORS requirements management tool would also be useful.

Experience must include a strong background in the aerospace engineering requirements and verification process and the ability to understand mechanical and electrical aerospace drawings, environmental requirements, test requirements, and various aerospace test methods.

This role will provide expertise in the area of Flight Data Recorders (FDR), Cockpit Voice Recorders (CVR) and Emergency Locator Transmitters (ELT) regarding system specification and integration etc. This is a critical role for the project and will run through the whole development process.
